Wild Chic

Always chic, reimagined with hints of delicious temptation I am of course referring to my lust for animal print.

This winter, I confidently wore a variety of stylish faux fur and sheepskin pieces. As spring approaches, I am excited about a breathtaking selection of tights and stockings that will elevate any outfit. These additions effortlessly combine panache and feminine elegance, making those chilly mornings much more manageable. I’ve also discovered some eye-catching animal print flat shoes and the must-have skirt of the season.

Let me clarify: I absolutely love a splash of print. Worn with white chinos, it creates a lighter feel while still making a bold fashion statement. Recently, I bought a new pair of shoes and rediscovered a coat I had stored away. What truly impresses me is the remarkable 17-year gap from when I acquired the coat to how it remains incredibly relevant and stylish nearly 20 years later. Whether it’s ageless, timeless, or simply a matter of good timing, there’s no denying that a black-and-white look exudes chic sophistication.

I almost stole this skirt, such was my speed to wear this dream of a skirt. Zebra print, striking and glorious, I was a woman obsessed with. A faux fur vintage jacket & bag, I was the most stylishly dressed at the afternoon cinema. Of course, I was offered a seat on the underground because well-dressed women are appreciated.

The length, fabric, and versatility of this piece caught my attention in just 10 seconds. After I shared it on Instagram, my inbox was bombarded with questions, especially since the company hadn’t yet listed it on their website. Once I got home, I immediately created several stylish looks—this bold print is nothing short of jaw-dropping. Was it a keeper? Absolutely. On the very first morning I wore it, three people stopped me on the street, and one lady even took a photograph of me in it.

I firmly believe that a glorious chiffon leopard print scarf is a must-have for tea in Covent Garden; it effortlessly elevates any outfit. The coat from LK Bennett, which I bought in 2004, is both warm and cosy, proving to be a timeless piece. I've been actively collaborating with Gatineau skin care, testing their new products, and the results speak for themselves—my skin looks radiant, and I receive countless compliments!

Suede brown cow print presents a delightful alternative to the usual black shades. With the arrival of spring, I can feel the change in the air as I eagerly reach for a warm tan neutral palette. My wardrobe is beginning to transform, as I tuck away my chunkiest knits and Wellington boots for the season. Slowly but surely, spring is weaving itself into my style, perfectly complementing my new purchases.

I confidently purchased a pair of cow print shoes on sale at Marks & Spencer. This decision proves that buying summer shoes during a winter clearance event is a savvy financial move. With my small feet, I seized the opportunity—there was only one pair left in size 36. I knew they were waiting for me, and I couldn't let them slip away.

Stockings evoke bittersweet memories of my challenging school years, filled with frustrations like discovering pesky ladders, the frequent stumbles, and the ever-dreaded wrinkly ankles. Yet, I’ve made the decision to embrace warmer Lycra leggings for those brisk morning chills. As I explore the dazzling array of styles and prices, I find myself momentarily overwhelmed, but I remind myself to consider the cost per wear—especially since winter will linger for quite some time.

A beautiful burgundy colour paired with my fuzzy jacket from Blue Vanilla creates an elegant and stylish look. Fashion is constantly evolving, always reinventing itself with new fabrics and technology. Who knew organic bamboo stockings could be so appealing?
