My Pink obsession

Growing up I associated pink with Barbie, babies and bridesmaids. My wardrobe was black, tan and white with a dash of red. It’s now 90% pink how did this happen

With the wardrobe doors open gazing at the transitional gems left hanging after finally waving goodbye to winter was a jaw-dropping moment as I faced what can only be described as a colourful palate of 50 shades of pink..

Social media Pink influence

Looking vibrant, colourful and interesting is much easier if you embrace stand-out colour palates. Recently featured in Elle and Harpers Bazaar both used images of me in block colours.

Suddenly my wardrobe was filled with hot pink coats & trousers. Influencer work in Winter was dominated by colour and I loved it. It made me feel brighter, bolder and more energetic.

If you wish to blend into a room without a 2nd glance then a bold pink is probably not for you however, if you wish to turn heads and stand out among the black look no further.

Raspberry, pastels, vibrant prints. In the recent campaign with Afibel, I adored the shoots-allowed to select some items and guess my choice of colour.

Coronation brunch vintage pink

Head to toe Pink why does this work? Easy it’s down to the textures. Vintage cashmere, soft cotton t-shirt, satin heels and a crepe A-line skirt.

New Season Pink.

Mix pink with a bold strong colour like apricot, I enjoy colour-blocking because it photographs well. How fabulous and perky does this look.

A casual crochet Summer bag is offset by the Micheal Kors ring I selected to add colour & draw attention to my nails.

A dominant colour has allowed for endless options for countless outfits. Quick & easy layering with basic staples or classic accessories.

If a vibrant fushia is too full on then why not try a pastel pink? Fabulous sunglasses and a stylish tote will compliment the look.

Pink colour meaning..

Bright and hot pinks are associated with love, romance, passion and lust….which explains why my pink shoes make me so happy !!!!
