Cosy chic layers.

It seems unthinkable that 2023 is only weeks away. The Autumn leaves are crunching underfoot but it’s not cold by lunchtime I’m back in a t-shirt. Hallo chic layering and still not ready to let go of that vibrant wardrobe colour .. look no further.

Long-knitted colourful cardigans make an excellent alternative to Winter coats. Worn with a roll neck or a knitted vest this feels fresh & chic. How beautiful & bright this Jenerique coat is. To add even more colour check out the boots from Primark.

Cost-effective buys

Looking after the pennies, it’s important to look for good-quality layers that will last. Pick a classic style in a neutral shade.

On Winter mornings out walking, look for sweaters that are versatile. This beautiful chunky knit from Love Leggings has a hood and pocket pouch. Perfect for my lifestyle worn below for chilling at home.

Roll Neck Chic

A thin roll neck which can be easily layered beneath a coat looks elegant, sharp and worn in a bold colour with a print oh so stylish.

There’s something about the mixture of leopard prints against a solid eye-watering brick red. Instantly elevated to a classic chic with neutral slacks & vintage accessories. A matching bag & shoes will give a polished finish to your look.

This look attracted a huge social audience. The trick is the 3 colours, red, tan & brown. The sunglasses are a classy vintage print, and the bag one of my birkins adds timeless elegance but for me personally, it was all about the shoes. I got dressed from the feet upwards.

A vibrant purple roll neck from Prada looks so polished when worn alone but paired with a lilac wool fleece from Primark it still looks rich and classy. I love to mix labels but the trick to this look is the textures, they complement each other…instantly updating a casual look to an elegant chic wearable outfit.

Henri Bendel jewels are a classic bangle and ring teamed with dark plum nail varnish. It’s all in the details the glasses could look like fashion overload. It works because the various shades are textured. Starting with the roll neck. it looks slick used as a layer under a complementary toned fleece.

This season's must-have colour pink is mixed with other Autumnal shades, instantly chic and eye-catching with just enough daring to mix with white chinos. I of course can’t wait to jazz it up with my pink coat & boots.

Embellishment for an afternoon at the V&A. I have never been a girl for sequins or tassels but embroidery & delicate jewels I can still appreciate. These glasses from Iglasses are a plus 2 lens with half & half glass. Saving me the ordeal of changing sunglasses to regular lenses.

Lounge wear.

Loungewear / tracksuit or pyjama the Winter essential. Casual chic for running around London or at home working. Buy in a solid colour to layer up with vests. Worn here with sneakers & today with Uggs.

Preparing the house for Thanksgiving in Leopard print. What else would you expect from me? Soft cosy loungewear worn with elegance just add pearls & ballerinas…a fab print elevates the look.

Wishing you all a very Happy Thanksgiving.
