Rewrite your ..Fall23

The cold weather isn’t a signal to pack away all your favourite Summer staples…instead, mix them with your Fall Wardrobe. A faux gillet with Summer cullotes perfect for Autumn.

Maybe it is the look and feel of luxury, warmth and nostalgia but my faux furry jackets feel like old friends …reunited after 6 months of vacum packed absence.

A hint of rock chic thrown over the shoulder or vamp it up with knee-high boots. A riot of mixed greys elevates a black dress to goddess level or tossed over leggings with a vest. My mood lifts instantly.

This cosy, weighty, cardigan pulls together a casual Sunday brunch look. Essential layers, London is yet to see temperatures dip. The roll neck is mid-riff cut & the Uggs are indulgent …I carried the cardigan home it was so hot !!!

Winterize your dresses

A Prada slip dress in October …teamed with boots. If it works it works, I added the gloves for detail. It’s all too easy to pack away seasons and weeks later regret it.

Out comes the umbrella in Knightsbridge—a trip to the Chanel show again at the V&A. The trend to wear above-the-knee dresses with knee-high boots I’m embracing before Winter really sets in.

Should I be wafting around in a silky knee-length sleeveless dress in November? Who writes these fashion rules probably the same people who dictate women over 40 should give up on fashion. Tight fitting, bias cut, possibly not menopause tummy friendly…. I get away with it .. just.. a great bag, fab boots and obviously the tuxedo jacket sitting perfectly on the hips.

Can you wear white in Fall?

Does it stop after Labour day or September? White elegance, sharp, clean and oh-so chic !!

Oh, baby yes you can …hallo Wellingtons in White ..sweat pants & neutral layering. Strutting around Notting Hill in the October sunshine. Colour blocking makes any outfit easy. Matching textures from knit, jersey to rubber. Never be afraid not look bold & confident.

An evening out in a faux fur jacket from Hm. Cargo pants compliment the boots, a chunky bag adds interest the glasses ensure i’ve completed the Tom Cruise Top Gun look. All about the mixing of neutrals.

A classic bomber jacket always looks so neat with high-waisted trousers. The waistcoat is another Summer carryover. The beige boots are easily the most versatile to style …denim, black ..what a great addition from Celine.

If ever you need wonder …can I wear pink sequins, a silk green pleated skirt, a blue velvet wrap and pink suede boots and almost crash your Instagram account …Yes you can.. add a touch of Dior and a splash of Harpers & you are ready to roll.

Till next month Tina
