Noir Chic

After what seems like a lifetime of colourful bright …even neon styling …a look at the early Fall 2023 collections and there is almost something nostalgic and comforting about how fresh and classy black & white feels.

My first purchase for Fall was this Chanel style cropped cardigan from H&M. Bang on trend and oh so easy with black or white pants. The plus side of Noir Chic is the apparent fact everybody owns black shoes & accessories.

Knitted dresses and skirts are great for layering and versatile for boots or shoes. A black roll neck & suede knee highs when it’s cooler …for now a crop top makes it extra chic with a statement bag.

Never underestimate a sexy camisole, if you dare to bare. A teasing look in Summer, under a blazer in Fall and my personal favourite under cashmere at Christmas.

Delighted to be working with Liwisi in late August. The timeless look of this suit that I accessorized with vintage Prada and Asprey looked elegant, clean and fresh. The top worn later with black palazzo pants has drawn so many comments I wished it came in black as well.

Transitional sweater from Marks and Spencer new arrivals. Stripes are set to be huge for Autumn if you are not a fan this is perfect. A v-neck style I find so flattering worn above with black pants & below with casual pants.

Keeping the palate to minimum chic allows for rewears of our basic capsule. The staple items like black trousers, a crisp white blouse or beige knit can now be switched to the front ..easy on the purse.

Mood Changer

Soft wool sweaters especially stripes add a polished finish, especially with shorts. September layers & sumptuous textures will help the transition into October
