Early indications are Autumn trends will not be for the faint-hearted. Guaranteed to turn heads ..hopefully in admiration. Take inspiration from German influencer Leonie Hanne a colour palette of colour blocking and feminity is upon us.

I used only two bold colours to create an unforgettable look for London Fashion Week. No jewellery and clean natural nails and make-up. Less sometimes really is more. Perfect for the daytime I added high-gold sandals and a clutch for the evening.

When Grece Ghanem booked into the Savoy for London Fashion Week I messaged her …twice we have been featured together in publications. Her images did not disappoint. Sequins in bold vibrant green and stunning purple are just gorgeous.

This fabulous pink sequin top from H&M looked so amazing with the leather skirt I wondered why I hadn’t put the colours together in the Summer. Jewellery and my favorite colour nail varnish I felt polished and oh-so elegant at the afternoon trunk show.

Most of us have at some point purchased for a party or special occasion embellished or glittery clothes …then took them to a thrift store or tucked them away till the next occasion. Get them out now ..even with classic denim …ballet pumps …time to sparkle !!!!

Dramatic daytime shine, turning heads for the right reason. New season knits and Prada slingbacks. The versatility of buying a block colour allows for a variation of options & colours. Suede ankle boots and a skinny black roll neck come to mind.

Singing the blues with a hint of silver glitter lifting these stunning culottes.

Precious metals, minimum effort, maximum impact. Lurex makes a welcome return (Zara). I wore this look to Sunday Brunch, a knee grazing gold leather skirt in the Autumn sunshine makes the ultimate statement.

Adding some razzle dazzle is surprisingly cost effective, brought well it will last for many years. A cashmere sweater, a cotton vest …even a denim jacket …a touch of sparkle will add polish and interest.

Todays is October 1st and London is a warm 20 degrees, it seems the year has flown by and Christmas party season will be upon us. Head out now, check out your local thrift store for sequin finds …love them or hate them ..we all deserve a chance to shine.
